This webinar will look at confidentiality in occupational health and will focus on the OH professional’s legal and ethical duty of confidence. Professor Diana Kloss will discuss the GDPR, the Data Protection Act and the common law, and the recently updated ethics guidance of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.

Professor Diana Kloss MBE, hon FFOM, is a barrister practising in Manchester and a former employment tribunal judge. She is the author of Occupational Health Law, Discrimination Law in Occupational Health Practice, chapters in Hunter’s Diseases of Occupations and Fitness for Work, and a regular column in Occupational Health at Work. She is an hon Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, a member of the Faculty’s ethics committee and a contributor to the recently updated ethics guidance. Diana has three academic appointments, at Manchester University, London South Bank University and Cardiff University.
