Requirements

What You'll Need

Education & Qualification

  • ENB Specialist Practice Qualification or equivalent
  • SCPHN Occupational Health qualification
  • FOHN approved postgraduate qualification
  • Minimum 35 hours CPD over previous two years

Work Experience

  • Minimum 200 days occupational health practice
  • At least 4 years professional experience
  • 5–8 significant activities or projects documented
  • Supporting occupational health logbook required

Competencies

  • 60% competency proficiency at level 3
  • Level 4 proficiency in at least one area
  • FOHN competency checklist completion
  • Evidence linked to competency claims

Referees & Evidence

  • Two occupational health specialist referees
  • At least one referee external to your organisation
  • Supporting evidence and reports required
  • NMC revalidation evidence submission

Prepare your logbook entries, competency evidence, CPD records and supporting documentation.

Accreditation Review

Your application will be assessed by the FOHN Faculty Accreditation Board.

Fees & Membership

Simple Pricing

For all levels of accreditation, the cost of the application and three years of inclusion in the directory is £60.

In 2026 we are offering free application plus additional mentoring and support for the first 15 applicants at each level.
