We have a great job advertising offer that has helped fill many senior roles across the industry. Our offer is aimed to get the best possible response for your vacancy. Job vacancies are placed on our website, in our monthly eNews and sent to our membership in a dedicated mailshot. Advertising via the SOM means reaching well over 1,600 members with a specific interest in occupational medicine and health, and many thousands more through our social media links such as LinkedIn.
Our fixed fees mean we're considerably cheaper than standard recruitment agencies. To advertise, please complete the form below and include your details for invoicing. The fee for advertising an occupational medicine doctor role is £1,400 + VAT. We offer a discount if more than 5 adverts are placed in a calendar year, where all subsequent submissions will be charged at a reduced rate of £975 + VAT per advertisement. Fees are halved for non-medical vacancies.
We can also circulate requests for tender through a dedicated mailshot to members, a listing in our eNews and circulation through our social media.

Being a member of SOM can support your career development. As a member, you can join the SOM Occupational Health Management special interest group, attend a SOM training day or one of our Regional Group meetings or events.
You can also demonstrate leadership by putting your name forward for a SOM position in a Regional Group, or in a national group.
SOM members are also available to provide peer support to other SOM members.
