Presenters: Daniel Paterson, Forensic Toxicologist
Daniel Paterson is a Forensic Toxicologist who specialises in the interpretation of quantitative analysis of drugs and poisons. Daniel regularly appears in the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Queensland, as well as the Federal Court of Australia. Daniel is not bound to a single side; he regularly appears for prosecution/applicant and defence/respondents.
Dr David Fox, Consultant Occupational Physician
Dr David Fox is a Consultant Occupational Physician at Health Partners UK.
David has been an occupational physician for the last 25 years. He has extensive experience of dealing with safety critical workers and remains in almost full time practice in the UK.
He was until recently the Responsible Officer for the FOM. He helped develop the FOM’s Guidance on alcohol and drug misuse in the workplace. He is currently a board member for the Medical Council on Alcohol and the Chair of the Secretary for State for Transport’s Honorary Medical Advisory Panel (to the DVLA) on Alcohol, Drugs and Substance Misuse.
David will be considering the challenges posed to the occupational health clinician by the employee who has been prescribed cannabis
