10:00 Hidden Disabilities in the Workplace
Speaker: Ros Williams of Cardiff University
The session aims to explore hidden disabilities within the workplace, removing barriers and creating an inclusive environment. Information will be provided about specific learning differences (SpLD) and how they may co-exist with each other alongside health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. An overview will be given on how hidden disabilities may present themselves, their strengths and challenges, and what adjustments or solutions can be implemented to support individuals in the workplace under the Equality Act 2010.
