The webinar aims to help identify, analyse and manage common risk patterns of anxiety driven OH consultations. It is intended to be useful and interesting for all OH practitioners at all levels of experience, with some original perspectives.
There are suggestions for optimising the effectiveness and efficiency of the interaction, and how to aim for shared understanding, active management and autonomy for the employee, and consented reports. It will cover models of causation and perpetuation, with reference to transactional and management elements.
John Sterland worked as a GP for many years before specialist training at Kings and has broad experience of public and private sectors in the London area. Aware of the increasing proportion and complexity of stress consultation he has become interested in managing these cases.
