Summary of Webinar
The pandemic has brought overdue recognition for the importance of supporting healthcare staff, and the importance of taking a psychologically-informed and tailored approach that considers preventative as well as responsive approaches within healthcare organisations. Dr Olivia Donnelly, Dr Emma Lishman and clinical psychologist colleagues at North Bristol NHS Trust have co-developed a specialist staff psychology team. The service places a strong emphasis on the need for supporting compassionate and psychologically safe team cultures as core to colleague wellbeing, based on the ethos is that ‘resilience is between us, not just within us’. In this webinar Olivia and Emma will talk about the work they are doing supporting teams, how their approach has evolved, some of the challenges of this work, and practical points from what they have collectively been learning. We aim to make the session as interactive as possible and will ensure there are opportunities to ask questions.
