Speaker Bio: Dr Simon Harold Walker is a Research Associate, specialising in Suicide and Mental Health, within the Healthy Working Lives Group at the University of Glasgow.  After training first as a Military Historian, Simon turned to Suicidology and has since combined the two as a passion culminating in two books War Bodies (2020) and the upcoming Silent Voices (2024) and articles within academia and the media including for Time Magazine and the Independent.  Moving into Occupational Health, Simon is now working on a early stage project focused on Nursing Suicide Recognition and Prevention Research.  Simon is also the Co-Founder of the Occupational Health Suicide Prevention and Research Network – www.OHSPR.network  Personal Website: www.simonhwalker.co.uk , Twitter: @drsiwalker
