Summary - This exclusive webinar for SOM members will explore the industry leading Emergency Medical Arrangements Align JV have put in place, across the 26km of infrastructure being constructed, with specific focus on the 16km of Twin Bore, 10m diameter tunnel construction. The webinar will discuss the challenges of the construction environment, occupational health team provision and expectation, training of frontline construction staff as first responders, equipment provided and finally engagement with the emergency services from strategic, tactical and operational perspective, and the benefits this has brought to both the project, the staff and the emergency services.
Speaker Bio - Ralph Ashwood has been a health, safety, and wellbeing professional for over 20 years, working across a range of building and civil engineering projects of all sizes, most notably, Heathrow T2B, Transformation of the Olympic Stadium post 2012, Tideway, Crossrail and HS2. With 30 years of volunteering experience with St John Ambulance in a range of roles including tactical command and control Ralph has brought his wealth of knowledge to enhance the emergency response and incident management on construction projects.
