Overview:

This webinar will ask whether occupational health systems should be legislated and explore two different perspectives, from the UK and Japan. It will discuss arguments for and against legislating occupational health and provide examples from two distinct contexts. The webinar will be relevant to anyone who is involved in delivering and supporting health in work settings, legal compliance, and organisational responsibility, including occupational health professionals, employers, employees, trade unions, policy-makers, insurers, and researchers. Our speakers speakers Takenori Mishiba and Nick Pahl, bring substantial expertise in how safe and healthy work environments can be supported, while the cross-national perspective will allow for comparision to learn from different approaches.
