SOM has arranged an exclusive workplace visit to the Port of Felixstowe and is an opportunity to showcase both the port and the role of OH within the business.
Spaces are free to SOM members but limited to the first 10 individuals to book on. Please only book on if you can absolutely make it.
The visit will take place on Wednesday 23rd September, with arrival for a 9:00 am. The address is IP11 3SY, junction 62 of the A14, dock Gate 1 and you will need to head for Tomline House (it is signposted). We will meet at reception.
The session will run as follows:
0900 - 0930 – Arrive, collect visitors passes and introductions by Elizabeth Clarke, Occupatioanl Health Manager
0930 – 1030 – Introduction to Hutchison Ports UK (HPUK) and a brief history of the Felixstowe Dock and Railway Company
1030 – 1045 – Break
1045 – 1230 – Port tour
1230 - 1315 – Lunch (will be provided)
1315 – 1400 – Occupational Health Department visit and meet the team
1400 – 1500 – The role of Occupational Health within HPUK
1500 – 1515 – Q&A
