Are Fit Notes Fit for Purpose?
Fitness for Work and Workplace Inclusion: A Changing Landscape
Do fit notes help people stay in and return to work - or is it time for a rethink?
Join Dr Mary Obele and an expert multidisciplinary panel for a discussion on the future of fitness-for-work assessment.
Bringing together perspectives from general practice, occupational health, mental health, employment law, employers and lived experience, we’ll ask what works, what doesn’t, and how we can better support people with health conditions and disabilities to enter, remain in and return to work.
We’ll also look beyond the UK, with Finnish and New Zealand occupational health perspectives and discussion of developments in Germany, asking what the UK could learn from different international approaches.
Expect different perspectives, practical insights and plenty of debate, with time for audience questions.
