EDF Energy, Occupational Health Manager
As EDF Energy's Occupational Health Manager you will be responsible for providing direct line management to a team of 8-10 EDF Occupational Health Advisors (OHAs). You will support their development and wellbeing, including appraisals and objective setting to the outsourced provider’s OHA’s. The successful individual will support the OHAs in continued professional and personal development to ensure EDF OH continue to deliver the highest quality patient care, whilst delivering the central business plan objectives. The OH Manager will also support the wider teams in the teams for which they are responsible to ensure that staff are inducted fully, motivated, engaged and trained for the roles they provide and to ensure that the delivery of the clinical care is of the highest standard through audit and competency checks.
The new appointed Occupational Health Manager will also work with the Company OH Manager (Governance and Oversight) to implement an improved clinical governance framework, maintain SEQOSH accreditation and to monitor any clinical governance concerns and will benchmark OH team’s performance to share best practice and ensure that all EDF OH users experience the same quality of care. The role holder will hold a specialist role to either co-ordinate training or health and wellbeing activities across all OH teams.
Required Skills:
- Qualified Registered Nurse - Adult (RN), with a Certificate, diploma or degree in Occupational Health on the the specialist community public health nursing (SCPHN) register
- Project management skills
- OH Line Management
- Experience in leading and developing a training programme for OH teams and/or experience in leading and developing a company health promotion programme.
