The Fleet Street Clinic is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Health Physician to join the clinical team at their friendly multi-disciplinary private medical practice.

Their OH service has recently achieved SEQOHS reaccreditation for another 5 years, and the clinic is very proud of the high-quality service offered. There are 2 existing part-time OHPs, an external OH consultant, remote OHA support, and an excellent admin team; however, all services on site are doctor-led.

The Fleet Street Clinic is a well-regarded independent practice in Central London, now in its 30th year, offering excellent care in a multidisciplinary environment, with an interesting and unique patient base attracting clients from a wide range of industries, including broadcast news, TV and entertainment. Other services at this location include GP, Travel Clinic (pre and post deployment), Eye Care, Dental, Podiatry, Osteopathy and a clinical laboratory, so there is ample opportunity to work closely with 8 other doctors, 3 specialist nurses, as well as other healthcare practitioners.

The successful candidate must have:

• Ability to complete management referrals (across a wide range of industries with varying complexities) in a timely manner.
• Ability to take on a wide range of medicals including OEUK, HAVS, Pre-deployment, Drivers, Asbestos, Safety Critical etc.
• Willingness to participate in accreditation and quality activities when required.
• As the service is doctor-led, the new OHP must feel confident in undertaking physical examination, blood tests, urinalysis, Drug and Alcohol testing, ECG, audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, BMI measurements, Chester step test, bi-deltoid measurement, referral letters, signing patients off as fit to work/deploy/other outcomes.
• Be aware of the health surveillance process and advise/support as needed (there is an OH Nurse doing these remotely).
• Be willing to engage in off-site work as needed.

The position is available one or two days per week.

Terms: Part-time, Self-employed
Remuneration: According to experience, £80.00-£120.00/hr
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week, Weekdays only

Essential Qualifications: GMC Registration License to practice in UK Diploma in Occupational Medicine or FFOM
