1. Experienced Occupational Health Physician – Remote Working (Scroll down for details for the Doctors in Development Programme)

Contract: permanent, full-time or part-time (3 days minimum)

Location: Fully remote, home-based role

Health Partners are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Physician (OHP) to play a key role in delivering expert medical advice and guidance to their clients. You will play a pivotal role in supporting employee health and wellbeing across a diverse range of organisations. Working remotely, you will deliver expert clinical advice through case management, consultations, and collaborative engagement with employers and healthcare professionals. Your input will help shape safe, healthy workplaces and enable effective workforce participation.

What you will be doing:
•    Conducting Occupational Health assessments and providing evidence-based advice to employers and employees 
•    Managing a range of health cases including fitness for work, workplace adjustments, and return-to-work planning 
•    Delivering telephone and video consultations that combine clinical clarity with empathetic support 
•    Producing clear, concise, and professional reports outlining medical opinions and actionable recommendations 
•    Liaising with employers, HR teams, and other healthcare professionals to support employee wellbeing and organisational health goals

What they're looking for:
•    A qualified and experienced Occupational Health Physician (DOccMed/MFOM/FFOM).
•    Strong clinical knowledge and experience in occupational health, including case management, workplace assessments, and health surveillance.
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
•    A proactive and solution-focused approach to occupational health challenges combined with strong organisational and time management skills.
•    Familiarity with relevant workplace health legislation and guidelines (e.g Equality Act, Health & Safety at work Act

 

2. Doctors in Development Programme

Contract: permanent, full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)

Location: fully remote, home-based role 

Are you a GMC-registered doctor with a Diploma in Occupational Medicine, ready to take your first step into a career in Occupational Health? The Doctors in Development Programme offers a structured, supportive pathway to help you grow into a confident and capable Occupational Health Physician.

This role is ideal for newly qualified DOccMed physicians who want to build clinical experience in a commercial OH setting, with mentorship and tailored training to guide your development.

Programme Highlights:
•    Structured clinical training across progressive phases, gradually building up to full OHP caseloads 
•    Regular one-to-one mentorship from senior Occupational Health Physicians 
•    Formal educational sessions including lectures, case discussions, and reflective learning 
•    Continuous feedback and audit to support your growth and clinical confidence 
•    Flexible progression based on performance and learning pace

What They're Looking For:
•    GMC-registered doctors with at least 3 years of post-foundation experience.
•    Diploma in Occupational Medicine
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Commitment to personal development and high standards of care
