Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for an individual to fill this full time post based at St James University Hospital with a requirement to support some clinics on the Leeds General Infirmary site.

They are looking for a keen and motivated consultant to work alongside our other Consultants, medical staff, nurses and administrative support team to play a key role in helping us to meet our service delivery needs and develop the future of our service.

The SEQOHS Accredited Occupational Health Service at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust provides a service for its host organisation and a number of external organisations covering around 25,000 employees. Working to key levels of quality and performance the service is provided by a multi-disciplinary team comprising of specialists in OH medicine, OH nursing, psychiatry and psychology all of whom are supported by a highly trained and efficient administration and business team.

 

The successful applicant should be on the GMC Specialist Register for Occupational Medicine and should be included on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview, if currently within a training programme within the UK.  In accordance with the consultant appointment regulations, all other categories of doctors must be on the Specialist Register.

Please note, we would be interested to discuss potential options with applicants who hold the qualification of AFOM (Associate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine) and are not on the Specialist Register.
