The Occupational Health department now looks to recruit a new head of service that can ensure the health and wellbeing of their people. Supported by a large team, including three Occupational Physicians and departmental colleagues you will encourage, promote and deliver the OH service, while setting the long term strategy for the team. Professionally you will work to implement strategic plans for a progressive and responsive service across the Trust. Their priority continues to be a focused, safe, efficient and effective service.

Main duties of the jobIt takes an exceptional leader to engage and inspire staff to ensure that the very best practices are introduced and implemented. Your extensive experience in Occupational Health services, along with your leadership, clinical skills and understanding of Clinical Governance and Quality will enable you to lead and support the team. As Head of Service, you will be the inspiration for their Occupational Health team, building a competent, multi disciplinary team to respond to the needs of LTHT staff. You will be approachable, responsive and encouraging of colleagues who seek your professional input. You will have a compassionate leadership style, while ensuring that your team are empowered to deliver to the highest standards.
