Medical Advisor - The Police Service of Northern Ireland
The PSNI are looking for a medical advisor to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team of professionals, to advise on health and well-being matters and to provide professional advice to the Chief Constable, police and police staff on occupational health issues.
This post will be suitable for prospective candidates of the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Register (CESR) and will be supported by the Chief Medical Officer in relation to clinical/educational supervision and the annual review of competency progression. A training plan will be agreed for each year and all relevant Workplace Based Activities (WBA) will be undertaken.
The PSNI are looking for applicants with a medical degree MB BCH or equivalent. MRCP (UK) or equivalent or MRCGP or MFPH Part A, or MRCS, or MRCPsych or Primary FRCA or first FRCR or MRCPCH will also be considered.
