Leading by example, with a strong background in health surveillance and recent relevant experience, you'll supervise dedicated Occupational Health Technicians, ensuring service quality is maintained to the highest standards. With meticulous attention to detail, you'll manage employee health records in compliance with legal requirements.

What does the average day look like?
Be at the heart of the Occupational Health team, where your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being of Network Rail employees.
You'll conduct thorough clinical assessments aligned with their standards and protocols, encompassing health surveillance, fitness-to-work evaluations, management referrals and more. Crafting precise reports in adherence to Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines, you'll offer insights on fitness for work and necessary adjustments while upholding confidentiality. Your role extends beyond clinical duties; you’ll be a liaison between Occupational Health, Human Resources, and Line Managers, addressing emerging issues and trends collaboratively.

Essential Criteria
Network Rail are seeking a dedicated candidate to join their team, where your unique skill set will shine. As an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Adviser Registered as a General Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register or Part 3, your expertise lays a solid foundation for success. With qualifications in occupational health, including, a diploma, or degree or an MSC, you're well-prepared to tackle the challenges of the role head-on. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills ensure effective collaboration within the diverse team and with valued clients. They value autonomy, and your ability to work independently will be key to your success. Your proficiency in IT, coupled with a deep understanding of relevant legislation and GDPR compliance, ensures that confidentiality and data protection remain paramount.
All roles require daily onsite presence; current vacancies are in Newcastle, Swindon, Milton Keynes (PT 2 days/week), Ipswich, Perth, Birmingham New Street, Crewe Mannin House, Lancaster, London Victoria, Stratford, and Bristol.
Band & Salary: Band 4C £43,588 - £49,037 + great benefits.
