RPS Group - Trainee Occupational Health Physician

RPS Occupational Health is SEQOHS accredited and provides high quality Occupational Health and Risk Management services to over 600 clients across the UK and Ireland.

Our extensive Occupational Health provision covers clients in chemicals manufacture, education, construction, healthcare, rail, logistics & police.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Physician to join our Mansfield Woodhouse office, this role will see you complete specialty training in Occupational Medicine, in a GMC approved post.

You will be working as part of a highly motivated customer focused team, carrying out office and client sitebased clinics / workplace visits, across a variety of different industry sectors. Working in conjunction with the Medical Director/Educational Supervisor, Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Governance Lead, Operations Manager and Nursing Leads you will be able to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge in Occupational Health service delivery.

Alongside is the opportunity to undertake Tier 5 HAVS training in a newly established Tier 5 HAVS Laboratory at Mansfield Woodhouse.

To be considered for this post you must at least hold:

• GMC Registration with a valid Licence to Practise

• The DipOccMed

• Full UK driving license (as travel throughout the midlands and to RPS offices are part of the programme)

Brief outline of the Training Programme

The Occupational Medicine Training Programme is a four-year programme (pro rata for a part time Trainee), starting at ST3. During this time, the Trainee's work will be monitored for satisfactory progress and subject to annual reviews in the form of Annual Reviews of Competency Progression (ARCPs), with the ultimate goal of being included on the GMC specialist register. Success in securing of the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) will lead to a substantive Consultant appointment at RPS Occupational Health.
