Job Description

As the Corporate Medical Director, you’ll play a critical role in leading our health systems management and clinical governance. As a physician working closely with internal and external health stakeholders, you’ll positively impact the quality of medical care and occupational health service that Seadrill contracts to support our global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day, you’ll develop and implement policies, procedures and programmes related to the medical care and occupational health of Seadrill employees in each country of operation. Continually seeking to improve the level of care provided, you’ll oversee training, drills and continuing training for Medics employed by Seadrill. In addition to working with local medical experts, you’ll act on a variety of case escalations and conduct case reviews, providing reports on significant adverse medical or health related incidents. As a standard bearer for good health in the company, you’ll participate in health promotion campaigns, as well as representing Seadrill at industry conferences and seminars.

Qualifications

To make an immediate impact, you’ll be a licensed physician (GMC or equivalent) with a minimum of seven years clinical medical practice with experience in occupational health and the oil and gas industry. You’ll be a highly organised individual with exceptional communication skills, the ability to thrive under pressure and show flexibility when facing numerous competing demands.
