University Hospital Southampton's Occupational Health Manager is retiring and this post is a great opportunity for a forward thinking dynamic occupational health nurse with management experience. This is a large OH department within the NHS. It has a great reputation and they are looking for someone to continue developing the role. We provide high quality occupational health services to all UHS Trust 12,500 staff and a variety of external partners and contracts including councils, education establishments and small businesses. This is a great opportunity to be challenged as a nurse and leader and care for our clients in a wide variety of challenging ways. You will be supported by the wider OH team.

You will need to be a confident and competent computer user of Microsoft Office and used to undertaking OH reviews by video where appropriate and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will be a registered nurse and ideally have a SCPHN OH qualification and be on part 3 of the NMC register or equivalent evidence of post registration experience and leadership in occupational health. You will have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. This is an interesting and varied post which will be a positive daily challenge.
