  • Orthopaedic Research UK – MSK community group  academics, clinical researchers and healthcare professionals specialising in musculoskeletal health. We are MSK trade associations, grant givers, GPs, physiotherapists, nurses, and other HCPs involved in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Arthritis, work, and wellbeing: a mixed methods study with policy recommendations. This project will develop guidance for employers and policymakers on how they can support improved wellbeing among working-age people diagnosed with arthritis. It is funded in partnership with Versus Arthritis as part of our Oliver Bird Fund.
  • Cornwall Arthritis Trust - funds world-class research and innovations for people with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions across Cornwall and beyond. We encourage, empower, and educate sufferers, their families and professionals about the conditions and campaign for access to the best treatment and care. We are here to conquer arthritis and to enable everyone to live their best life.
  • QUantifying the Impact of Chronic pain on engagement in paid worK (QUICK) - developing a questionnaire that can be used to assess the many different ways in which chronic pain affects work ability, considering modern ways of working (such as holding several part-time jobs, having "zero hours" contracts, or combining employment with self-employment). By doing this we aim to create an instrument that can be used in future studies to assess the impacts of chronic pain on working life in a variety of contexts.
  • PROSPERH - aims to improve physical and mental health in workplaces by developing and validating the multi-level PROSPERH intervention, delivered via the PROSPERH Portal, in Albania, Australia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Kosovo, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
  • Musculoskeletal Medical Engineering Centre - focussed on the discovery and application of new technologies to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, such as osteoarthritis.
  • Centre for Musculoskeletal Research - aim is to invest in research to improve the lives of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, osteoarthritis and pain and our studies include both adults and children.
