SOM Occupational Health Awards 2021 - winners announced

The winners of the 2021 SOM Occupational Health Awards were announced this week at the SOM Christmas Drinks at the Royal College of Physicians, London.

  

Winners were presented with their trophies by Dr Vicky Mason (Chair of SOM Council), Dr Rikard Moen (Chair of SOM International Group), Professor Anne Harriss (SOM Past President) and the award sponsors. SOM President Dr Jayne Moore introduced the evening and Professor Anne Harriss closed the event with a few words of thanks to everyone involved. We are delighted to announce the winners as follows:

 

Outstanding Occupational Health Initiative - March on Stress

Outstanding Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion, sponsored by PAM Group - Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust

 

Special commendation was awarded to Dr Clare Fernandes and Dr James Quigley for Outstanding Occupational Health Practitioner, Anglian Water for Outstanding Contribution by an Employer to Workplace Health and Wellbeing, and Staying Well at Work - Rhondda Cynon Taf Council (externally funded) for Outstanding Occupational Health Team.
